ABOUT ME

I am a rising junior at the University of Michigan, majoring in Information and minoring in Writing. After college, I plan to work for a few years and then pursue a master’s degree. I am excited for what the future holds, as I feel my degree choices can provide me with many opportunities.

I hail from the Metro Detroit area, and I can confidently say that my hometown has a very convenient location. The only Cheesecake Factory in Michigan is about 10 minutes away from my house, and all the major highways pass through my city.

Besides writing, I enjoy traveling, reading the news, and learning about new things. While I have traveled to India quite a few times, I hope to someday travel to other countries around the world as well. I am a firm believer in keeping an open mind and being my best every day.

Who Am I?

As I mentioned on the home page, this site was created for the gateway course in the Minor in Writing program through the U-M Sweetland Center. The process for creating this page was tedious, but also rewarding. We had to focus on three different projects, each with their own benefits and challenges. During the semester, I learned more about myself and my writing style, as some of the pieces required introspection and analysis. I hope you can map my journey through this site and enjoy my take on the assignments.
